Job summary
A Path of Care Hospice in Norman, OK is hiring a Part-time Bereavement Coordinator responsible for implementing and maintaining a bereavement program.
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the assessment and delivery of grief counseling services to families/caregivers• Plan for the development and expansion of the Bereavement Program• Provide counseling and referral services for hospice personnel coping with work-related grief• Maintain a community resource list as needed• Assist in evaluating and planning service to meet hospice support needs• Participate in in-service education and relevant committees• Perform other related duties and responsibilities
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent theological degree or master's degree in social work• Experience with families/caregivers and patients through death/dying or experienced clinical grief counseling• Excellent communication skills• Creativity and motivational skills• Ability to work as part of a team and understand the grief process• Must have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a valid Oklahoma driver's license
