As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a talented and experienced Benefits Specialist to join their team remotely.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Specialist to oversee all aspects of our client's employee benefits program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits administration, excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting employee well-being. Benefits Specialist Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other voluntary benefits Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, providing timely and accurate information and guidance Coordinate open enrollment activities, including communication campaigns, enrollment meetings and materials preparation Partner with external benefits vendors to ensure smooth administration and resolve any issues or discrepancies Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement policies and procedures related to benefits administration Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits and make recommendations for program enhancements as needed Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned Benefits Specialist Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and leave policies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to employees at all levels Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with benefits administration software or HRIS platforms Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with virtual teams Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation preferred but not required
