Responsibilities
• Serving as the Benefits & Comp Administrator and as part of the Corporate HR department• Coordinating new employee, status change and open enrollment benefit orientations• Assisting with communications and education to employees about benefit programs• Administering various employee benefit programs• Building strong relationship with carrier contacts and broker partners• Ensuring benefits compliance with all appropriate federal, state and local laws• Assisting with leave management process for all employees• Preparing monthly Health & Welfare Insurance invoices• Handling administration of 401(k) plan• Providing assistance with compensation market research
Requirements
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in Human Resources at Benefit Specialist level• Working knowledge of appropriate HR and Benefit laws, policies and practices• Minimum of three (3) years experience at a proficient level within a Human Resources Management System (HRMS)• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications and HRMS software at an intermediate to advanced level
