Job summary
Provide behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families enrolled in approved studies.Assist the Principal Investigator with the implementation of research protocols.Ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities
• Provide behavioral health services to adolescents and young adults transitioning out of Juvenile Rehabilitation.• Implement the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach with Assertive Continuing Care program.• Assist the Principal Investigator with the implementation of research protocols.• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and institutional/departmental guidelines.• Travel throughout Eastern Washington, meeting with youth in facilities and after they leave.• Work autonomously, setting a schedule and maintaining client outreach.• Create spreadsheets and be flexible in job duties.• Attend training and certification programs as required.• Perform assessments, therapy, and case management for children and families.• Possibly demonstrate proficiency in a second language.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.• 4 years of experience providing direct treatment services to children and families; or• Master's Degree and 2 years of experience providing direct treatment services to children and families.• Possibly required to have a valid driver's license.• Preferred: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.• Preferred: Current licensure in Washington State as a Registered Counselor or Mental Health Counselor Associate.• Preferred: Experience providing behavioral interventions with children & families.• Preferred: Nutrition experience.• Preferred: Experience working in a behavioral or clinical research setting.• Preferred: Experience with evidence-based practice.
