THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN THE SCHEDULE:
The typical schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, with the possibility of additional weekend hours.
YOUR ROLE:
As a Behavior Technician, you get thorough training and strong support from our team. Your schedule fits around our clients' needs, with daytime and after-school options available. Each day you help kids learn at home, one-on-one. You work on building their skills with guidance from our expert behavior analyst. In this BT position, you have all the tools you need to do a great job. From materials to help with learning, to techniques for behavior improvement, you stay committed to keeping our services top-notch.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with children ages 0-18 in a classroom OR a 1:1 setting Experience implementing the principles of applied behavior analysis Educational, speech, or allied health services experience Ability to lift 50 pounds Reliable transportation A willingness and ability to travel between different job sites Qualified and eager to conduct sessions in-home and/or school-based settings Preferred Qualifications:
RBT certification 40-hour ABA course certified Tricare certified 1+ years of experience in ABA, a childcare setting, teaching, special needs, and or other professional experience with children and/or children with disabilities 1+ years of experience as a paraprofessional Bachelor's in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field JOIN US AT THE TREETOP THERAPY At The Treetop Therapy, we provide personalized ABA therapy services for children with autism.
