Starting Salary Range: *$24.00/hr.-$28.80/hr.

We are seeking a Behavior Specialist to support the Calabrese Youth Center (CYC). Reporting to the CYC Assistant Director, this role will support Laradon's mission by  coordinating the behavioral treatment services of the children/youth in Laradon's Youth Center.  Develop evidence-based behavior plans that address behavior and skills deficits as well as behaviors that place the person or others at risk.  Train and support staff to assist them in utilizing appropriate interventions and behavior management techniques. No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities: ???????
?????????????? Develop, train staff on Behavior Intervention Plans and Crisis Intervention Plans with the supervision of a BCBA.  Oversee and review monthly and revise. Collect data and assess targeted behaviors for caseload of children/youth, creation and implementation of strategies to change behavior and development of long-term maintenance plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Continuous assessment and modification of plans. Manage a caseload of children/youth including consult with team members and complete required paperwork in collaboration with a BCBA. Develop and implement skill acquisition plans that teach functional skills. Seek input and maintain effective communication with teams and outside entities. Create behavioral intervention overview within first 10 days of child's arrival to youth center and a full plan within a month under the supervision of a BCBA. Create and implement data sheets and tracking systems Create and manage program-wide reinforcement system Train, model and coach on interventions for behavioral inventions and strategies. Drive participants as necessary for program needs. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Train children/youth in use of community resources (RTD, laundromat, banks, restaurants, etc.). Respond to emergencies and crisis situations promptly and effectively. Drive participants as necessary for program needs. Oversee health and welfare of children/youth and report concerns and progress to program manager. Train, and assist as necessary, children/youth in shopping, cleaning, money management, hobbies, personal hygiene, etc. Provide direct counseling and training services to children/youth. Provide 24-hour supervision to children/youth. Assist with onboarding new students and orienting them to the center. Other duties as assigned. Valid Driver's license with a good driving record At least 21 years of age Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
