The BDC Cashier accepts payments by cash, credit card, and checks from customers and employees for service and part orders. Treat customers courteously and with the utmost respect at all times; make the customer feel appreciated and welcome.Answer multiple incoming phone lines in an efficient, timely manner.Receive payments for customer repair and part invoices; insure that all forms of payment are processed according to Dealership Guidelines, and the repair and parts orders are calculated and recorded correctly.Process customer refunds for returned parts or directed by managers.Verify customer contact information, including phone number, address, and email are up to date. Collect and retain coupons and other promotional redemptions.Close out the cashier drawer and credit card machines at the end of each day. Balance cash on hand with the day's tickets. Make up the drawer fund for the next day and drop all receipts in the safe at the end of the day.Other Duties:Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Any other duties as assigned by dealership management.Realizes that business is built on customer satisfaction and devotes himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction of dealership customers.Cross train with Warranty Administrator and BDC Specialist to assist when necessary.Keep the cashier window neat and orderly at all times, and protect the privacy of our customers information in accordance with company privacy policies.Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate personnel.Qualifications:A professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.Multi-Line telephone experience.Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.Must speak clearly and always convey a professional image.Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly, helpful attitude at all times.Must follow dealership safety policies and practices, and immediately report any, and all accidents to a manager/supervisor.Must speak and write English fluently, Spanish fluency is optional, but beneficial.High School diploma or equivalent.We are an equal opportunity employer.
