Interlachen Country Club is seeking a Clubhouse Bartender. Our clubhouse team provides exceptional service and a welcoming environment for our members in our flagship restaurant, the Bobby Jones Pub & Grill. Learn more about Interlachen and culture by visiting us at Responsibilities and Expectations: Support team members and managers with premium guest services Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Request additional supplies as necessary and stock the bar. Prepare garnishes, fruits mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening the bar. Mix, prepare and serve drinks to members Collect all forms of payments for drinks served. Report complaints to a manager as they occur. Maintain and clean bar area and equipment. Maintain records of liquors, beers and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times. Clean and lock the bar area according to prescribed closing procedures. Ensure that all food items are correctly stored, labeled, dated and rotated to prevent any health or safety hazards from occurring, and take precautions against possible spoilage. Attend staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions and training as required. Carefully follow all law and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service and inform the manager if continued service to a member or guest is in question. Serve drinks to members and guests seated at lounge tables in the absence of a beverage server. Continually practice beverage and revenue control procedures. Complete other appropriate work assignments as requested by the Food and Beverage Manager or supervisor. Assist with Club event such as holiday, member birthdays, and member life events. Ideal Qualifications and Attributes: Education & Experience High School Diploma or GE At least 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant, bartender or barista setting. Club experience is a plus. Base knowledge of Barista, Beer, Wine & Liquor Basic computer skills is a plus Experience with restaurant POS system is a plus Ability to create classic cocktails Must be 18 years of age Attributes Presentable - Able to put your best foot forward and present yourself in a clean and professional way to our members Strong Communication Skills - Able to assess needs and desires by communicating with our members and team Team Player - Work closely with Food and Beverage department leaders and fellow team members to meet goals Genuine - Possess a passion for delivering top-notch service and find everyday enjoyment Fast-Paced - Able to manage multiple tasks at once of differing needs Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move 24 lbs Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time Availability This position is available for part-time individuals. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts will differ from 4-8 hours.
