Location Description: Red Mountain Resort has everything you need to relax, renew and rediscover your passion for adventure. Overview: SUMMARY The Bartender serves food and beverages to our guests in an expedient, professional, friendly and courteous manner in accordance with all Federal, state and local liquor laws and current health & sanitation regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collect and set up necessary equipment to perform job (complete opening and closing side-work). Take beverage orders and deliver to guests or servers in a complete and timely fashion. Serve guests and patrons in accordance with Red Mountain Resort policies and Utah liquor laws. Follow all current health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE and using properly labeled/designated disinfectant, wipes down all contact hard surface areas including tabletops, chair backs, door handles, countertops, door push plates, telephones, touch screens, pens, check presenter books, mop and broom handles, pitcher handles, salt and pepper shakers, server pagers etc. Ensure that bar area is properly stocked and ready for business at all times. Make sure work area is sanitized with approved disinfectants and sanitizers regularly throughout shift Communicate liquor order needs to Dining Room Manager, requisition and transfer product as needed, following established procedures for each transaction. Post all beverage transactions at the end of service each night. Proficiency in both manual cash register and point of sale systems. Must be able to mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Demonstrate proficiency in Red Mountain Gold Star Standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Must have or be able to obtain T.I.P.S. or S.M.A.R.T. certification and food handler's certification. Must exhibit detailed knowledge and comply with rules and regulations of the Utah DABC as they apply to alcohol service at Red Mountain, for both the Restaurant License and the Banquet License . Complete knowledge of all bar set-ups and of beer, wine, and drink recipes and their proper presentation. Possess a current, valid driver license Have complete knowledge and understanding of all Canyon Breeze food, beverage, wine service/list, liquor laws and daily specials. Knowledge of current health & sanitation policies, proper handling of equipment and supplies (i.e. china, glass and silver) and observe all safety procedures during execution of assigned duties. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to wear a face mask while working , regularly stand; walk; use hands and fingers; talk or hear; sit; stoop or crouch. The employee may be exposed to wet, cold and/or humid outdoor weather .
The employee must be able to spend entire shift on his/her feet.  
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays; employee must be able to comply with department's uniform requirements.
