Birdie G's is an award-winning, Westside location from Chef Jeremy Fox and the Rustic Canyon Family. We are looking for a committed, detail oriented and hospitality minded bartender.
Tucked away within Santa Monica's historic Bergamot Station, Birdie G's is helmed by award-winning chef Jeremy Fox (also the chef/owner at Rustic Canyon and Tallula's) and Chef de Cuisine Matthew Schaler. As a member of the Rustic Canyon Family, a collection of celebrated, neighborhood dining destinations, Birdie G's offers a comforting, seasonal menu pulls influences from various regions across the United States and Eastern Europe. Everything from the food to the cocktails to the wine list has a story and pays homage to loved ones (friends, family, farmers!) who inspire the team. We make nearly everything in house, and always with great, local ingredients.
Duties:
Takes food and beverage orders
Properly opens and pours wine and beer
Follows proper steps of service
Knowledge of all food and beverage items
Maintains cleanliness of the restaurant
Completing all daily sidework that pertains to your shift
Properly handles all transactions
Assisting with special events as needed
Running drinks to tables
Cocktail creation for a full bar with a fresh juice program.

Requirements:
1 year of bartending experience at a casual fine dining restaurant or 3 years experience behind a bar.
Food handlers certification
RBS Certification
experience with natural wines, specialty cocktails, and artisanal spirits is preferred, but not required.
