Barista

Stone Tower Brews in Bridgeport, WV is looking for baristas to join our 28 person strong team. We are located on 8000 Jerry Dove Drive, Suite 116. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving espresso and coffee beverages, craft beer, and food to guests in our high-end, high-volume restaurant.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age, preferably 21 years of age. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to communicate with coworkers effectively. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Restaurant experience preferred, but not required. Responsibilities:
Greeting customers in a welcoming manner Handling cash to and from customers Taking customer orders for drinks and food Pass a Food Safety Certification online course to handle food Make quality coffee drinks, including steaming milk and pouring latte art Make other beverages including teas Pour beer/serve craft brews on hand and be able to recommend drinks for new customers Ability to keep up with demand on in-house and online orders Sweeping and mopping work areas Run dishes through dishwasher, wipe and polish kitchenware/silverware as needed Rotate and stock shelves with incoming product Follow directions as given from Head Baristas and Manager Maintain a clean and tidy work area Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
