Barback

The Bar back is responsible for ensuring that the bar is prepped, well stocked, supportive of the bartender, and the smooth operation of the bar.  To be a successful bar back, you should be passionate about working in a team to deliver excellent beverages and service to our guests as well as embody the MAMA Spirit in all that you do.
Job Overview: You're a stickler for great service. Assist with maintaining a properly set-up bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking liquor, beer, wine, juices, garnishes, condiments, and glassware. You uphold the MAMA standards of service at all times. Replenish supplies in the bar area, including garnishes, liquor, beer, napkins, glassware, and other related items. Prepare garnishes, stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Ensure guests complaints are promptly addressed by management. Ensure bar and service area are kept impeccably clean and tidy at all times. Have a clear knowledge on all inventory products. Follows proper cash and payment procedures ( If applicable) . Maintain safe work habits and work environments You abide by all Alcohol Beverage Control safety standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in high volume hotel or bar. You're able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. You jump out of bed each morning fizzing with energy. Multi-tasker- You'll know how to balance the needs of the guests, while upholding the needs of MAMA. You're able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays. You're not easily stressed and perform at your best under pressure.  You're dependable and punctual. You're a team player- At MAMA, we all roll up our sleeves together.
