On Call- Banquet Server BASIC FUNCTION: To preform all food and beverage serving duties and cleaning for banquet functions while interacting with guests in a positive and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
· Retrieve appropriate items for set-up of tables and stations.
· Greet and interact with guests in a positive and professional manner.
· Remember and recite menu items to guests.
· Assist guest with special requests in a timely manner.
· Take and serve guests orders.
· Monitor and replenish all food and beverage related items.
· Assist in running food from the kitchen.
· Carry trays through a crowded room on a continuous.
· Clear tables and stations using trays and tray stands.
· Lifting, Loading, and carry trays.
· Clean and sanitize supplies and equipment regularly.
· Maintain cleanliness standard of storage and public areas.
· Maintain safety and presentation standard of functions.
· Maintain proper requisitioning and stocking of all supplies.
· Responsible for maintaining inventories. Spot check inventory at the beginning and end of shift.
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Basic knowledge or previous experience serving food and beverage. Ability to read and speak English. Ability to follow directions. Strong customer service skills. Multitasking skills. Ability to take initiative.
