We are recruiting for an events Banquet Server/Bartender. We feature a newer high-scale 125-seat restaurant, private room dining, and a formal event hall that can accommodate up to 400+ guests and are currently implementing plans for additional growth in Puyallup, Washington.
This job role includes but is not limited to ensuring our guests receive Three Steps of Service Hospitality in keeping with our Farm 12 brand and standards. What you can expect to do on the job:
Accommodate guests during events by anticipating needs and politely responding to requests. Participate in all activities as it relates to event set-up and take-down. Serve food and beverages to guests (including alcoholic beverages if 18 or older). Replenish food, refill beverages, and remove dirty dishes during service. Attend and participate in event team meetings/huddles to assure event preparations are in order. Assure that all safety standards are followed. Adapt to change requirements as needed to accommodate guests. Our ideal candidate has some previous waitstaff or hospitality experience and: Has a passion for quality service and wants to give back to the community. Is a minimum of 16 years old (21 for bartender) and has reliable transportation. Is a strong communicator who enjoys working in a team environment. Is self-motivated, can work well under pressure, and has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Can be flexible in his/her work schedule. Must have weekend/holiday availability. Has a Washington State MAST Certification (if 18 or older) and a current Food Handlers Permit. Can focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds. Pay & Benefits Information: The pay range is $16-$32/hour, tips are included in the hourly pay range and may vary depending on the size of the event. Weekly pay.
