Job Summary:The Banquet Houseperson at The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick is a critical member of our hospitality team. This individual contributor role is responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet events, as well as assisting in the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the banquet space. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Natick, Massachusetts.Compensation & Benefits:The Banquet Houseperson will receive a competitive hourly rate of $17.50, paid biweekly. The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick also offers opportunities for growth and development within the company.Responsibilities:Set up and break down banquet event space according to event orders and diagramsArrange tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment in an organized and aesthetically pleasing mannerMonitor and replenish supplies in the banquet space, such as water pitchers, glasses, and silverwareAssist banquet servers in the timely and efficient service of food and beverage to guestsMaintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas, including polishing silverware and folding linensWork closely with the Banquet Manager to ensure the success of each event and promptly address any guest concerns or requestsFollow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environmentAttend and participate in all required meetings and training sessionsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in banquet or event set-up preferredAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentMust be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededEEOC statement:The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick is an equal opportunity employer.
