Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center located in Lewis Center, Ohio is seeking Banquet Bartenders to join our team! Our property is one of the largest venues in Columbus. During the week we hold a wide variety of meetings and during the weekend we will host many weddings! The job of a Banquet Bartender involves preparing and serving drinks for banquet guests in a prompt and courteous fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions: Greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar; promotes house drinks and utilizes up selling whenever possible to maximize revenues. Prepares beverages requested according to standard operating procedures establishing proper portions and ingredients to control costs and provide consistent product to the guests. Monitors guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers; checks identification whenever the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage service is questionable. Sets up portable bar including all alcohol, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies; inventories unused liquor and beverages. Obtains, counts and secures bartender's bank; receives cash payments from banquet guests; gives accurate change and balances cash drawer at end of shift. Physical Requirements: These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Position requires standing during entire shift Ability to lift, reach bend, stoop, push and/or pull heavy workloads, exert up to 100 pounds of force and the ability to regularly lift 55lbs.
