Compensation
The pay for this position is $20 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Bankruptcy Specialist Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday, flexibility to work onsite/remote after training. Standard office hours
Bankruptcy Specialist Responsibilities
Monitor loans in Bankruptcy to ensure the debtor is in compliance with the bankruptcy plan
Works with the Foreclosure, Loss Mitigation, Escrow Analysis, Taxes and the Insurance department communicating the bankruptcy status
Ensure Proof of Claims, Motions for Relief, Payment Change Notices, Post Petition Fees and Costs are prepared by counsel, are accurate and all aspects of the bankruptcy are handled according to investor guidelines and timeframes
First point of contact for bankruptcy attorney and customers in bankruptcy
Bankruptcy Specialist Requirements
Bankruptcy experience
Experience with preparing motions for release, reconcile loans on MSP, and proof of claims for counsel
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Bankruptcy Specialist Preferred Qualifications
Banking or Finance experience
