Back Parts Counter Representative Nd Shift

West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales, a locally owned group of companies, are seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Back Parts Counter Representative to join our team. We are leaders in the truck dealership industry, offering extensive services across five locations in West Michigan. This role involves selling heavy-duty truck parts, maintaining inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Selling heavy-duty truck parts Communicating with customers and staff on parts status Using the parts catalog for parts lookup Answering phone calls and providing price quotes and other information Reviewing shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing Pulling and filling orders from stock Maintaining inventory levels and accuracy Locating out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submitting emergency orders if necessary Billing internal requests for parts on service repair orders Receiving payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization Setting up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up Committing to continuous learning about inventory and product lines Qualifications Experience with heavy-duty parts preferred Excellent communication skills Professional attitude and appearance Confident, positive attitude with a customer-focused approach Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and web-based applications Ability to lift, carry and move more than 50 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits Medical and Dental coverage 401K Plan Paid time off Growth opportunities Paid Training Family owned and operated environment We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
