The AVP, Senior UAT Testing Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new enhancements and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new UAT analysts. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate, deliver, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within KYC Systems Solutions Development and Delivery department. Ensure that all processes, enhancements and systems implementations are robustly tested, and any defects are resolved ahead of production releases.Capable to understand and decipher Business and Function requirement documents (BRD's/FRD's) and develop detailed Test Cases along with creating a UAT Test Plan and UAT closing documentation.Review UAT documentations including pertinent testing evidences prior to stakeholder approvals.Undertake the UAT Test Lead and/or UAT Coordinator role in urgent cases across all KYC/AML Systems, driving UAT progress and becoming the Point of escalation for UAT related items.Lead status meetings with senior leadership, partner with project managers, technology and business stakeholders and drive initiatives to completion.Must be able to become an expert in all applications within the purview of the team and be able to provide "hands-on" support in test script writing and execution.Must be able to contribute to and help drive strategic initiatives and overall team development to enable continuous progress.Mentor, train and provide direction to UAT peers and new hires as needed. Leader and an expert in project delivery across all phases of Project Management including UAT preparation, timeline creation, project prioritization and resource planning for all KYC/AML systems supported.Coordinates and leads defect management calls as appropriate.Drives and initiates cross functional collaborations with business partners and stakeholders across all KYC/AML systems to overcome obstacles or solve problems.Perform tests & retests; update HP Quality Center/JIRA with the Test Scripts, appropriate test results, and evidencing of test results.Log defects in HP Quality Center/JIRA and/or a defect log and accurately trace the defects to the impacted Test Cases in HP Quality Center.Prepare testing progress status reports for project stakeholders and all project participants. (Pass, Fail or Not Applicable).Report risks to the UAT Test Lead/ UAT Coordinator or UAT Manager for all gaps in UAT scope that may cause incorrect interpretation of UAT result.Working with the Project Manager and collaborating effectively with various business partners.Prioritize multiple tasks and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Qualifications:3 - 5 years of experience in UAT TestingAgile and Scrum Master Experience is preferredAdvanced Knowledge of Jira/HP Quality Center is a plusDeveloped communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, colleagues from a multitude of different businessesAnalytical and interpretive thinking skills are essential to define and solve problemsProven leader and proven track record working in a fast-paced environment while taking on multiple projects simultaneouslyThe capability to independently complete assigned projects and orchestrate the work of others assigned to larger, more complicated projectsSolid interpersonal skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical peopleAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and able to deal with ambiguityProficient using collaboration tools and Microsoft office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ExcelIntermediate to Advanced skills in Excel and SQL is a plusExperience with various KYC systems is a plusUnderstanding of end to end processes and familiarity with data management and analysis a plusEducation:Bachelor's degree/ University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
