Responsibilities
• Supervises Child Nutrition Programs in designated schools• Evaluates the effectiveness of child nutrition services• Conducts and oversees completion of various school observation reports• Implements processes to ensure wholesome food production• Serves as the liaison between designated schools and CNS• Provides support and follow-up with school child nutrition managers• Performs responsibilities including but not limited to supervision of employees• Supports CNS' objective of maintaining a highly motivated staff• Manages one or more CNS central specialized program functions• Performs other related duties, as assigned
Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of basic principles of nutrition• Extensive knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements• Extensive knowledge of equipment use and care in food service facilities• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office• Excellent customer service skills• Effective time management and organizational skills• Critical thinking and problem solving skills• Ability to operate and troubleshoot Point of Sale systems• Ability to maintain proper records for accountability• Ability to foster teamwork
