Automotive Service Technician

When you join our team, you will enjoy a supportive, team oriented work environment, where you will be challenged, mentored and encouraged to pursue your career goals.What We Offer:Excellent earning potential based on experience, certifications and productionCompany culture that supports professional developmentDealership is closed Sundays!Paid time off and holiday payLow-cost medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and disability coverage401(k) with company contributionsEmployee/family discounts on vehicle purchases and serviceEmployee assistance program, volunteer opportunities and more!Core Responsibilities:Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Complete work specified on the repair order to dealership standardsInform the Service Advisor of recommended maintenance or repairs, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional servicesEnsure warranty repair work is completed according manufacturer specificationsDesired Qualifications and Experience:2+ years of experience performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance servicesASE and/or Volkswagen certifications are idealConcentrated and thorough, demonstrating proficient troubleshooting and problem solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication, and general computer skillsMust have your own toolsA valid driver's license and clean driving record are requiredMust pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background checkHours and Work EnvironmentThe Service Department is open Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm and Saturday 7am - 5pm. We are looking for flexible candidates to work various shifts.
