Automotive Service Technician

Chapman Chrysler Jeep is seeking an experienced, Stellantis certified Automotive Technician to provide our customers quality vehicle maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will be well versed in complex vehicle diagnostics and repairs, contributing to our high-volume shop. This role collaborates with other technicians, Service Advisors and Parts Associates, and reports to the Service Manager.What We Offer:Competitive flat rate compensation based on experience and certificationsCompany culture that promotes professional developmentDealership is closed Sundays!Low-cost medical, dental and vision insuranceLife insurance and disability coveragePaid time off, paid training, and holiday payCompany contributions into 401(k)Employee/family discounts on vehicle purchases and serviceEmployee assistance program, volunteer opportunities and more!Core Responsibilities:Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systemsCommunicate additional repairs needed to the Service Advisor, using dealership software to provide labor, time and parts estimates for repair servicesPerform work specified on the repair order efficiently and per dealership processesExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and provide necessary documentationPerform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are completeDesired Qualifications and Experience:2+ years of automotive technician experience requiredStellantis certification required; ASE certifications are a plusExcellent diagnostic and repair skills are requiredOutstanding attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical with strong problem solving abilitiesMust be team oriented, working well with othersMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkHours and Work EnvironmentMust be available to work Monday – Friday and every third Saturday. Early and late shifts are available. The Service Department is open 7am to 6pm on weekdays and 7am – 5pm on Saturdays.
