Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations in our service department. This individual will be responsible for managing service requests from customers, coordinating with the service technicians, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This is a full-time individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.Compensation & Benefits:Annual salary of $70,000 to $90,000, paid weeklyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases and servicesOngoing training and development opportunitiesResponsibilities:Greet and assist customers with their service requests, providing excellent customer service throughout their visitConduct vehicle inspections and accurately assess the needs of each customer's vehicleConsult with customers regarding recommended services and provide detailed explanations of all work and associated costsSchedule appointments and ensure timely completion of all servicesCoordinate with service technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of workKeep detailed records of all service requests and customer interactionsHandle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely mannerMaintain a clean and organized work areaStay informed of all current and upcoming automotive service trends and updatesRequirements:High school diploma or GED, some college or vocational training in the automotive industry preferredPrevious experience as an automotive service advisor or in a customer service role within the auto industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in computer applications and technologyMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordEEOC Statement:Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
