Automotive Parts Manager

Job Description Work Directly with the Parts Director and Assist with Daily Operations of the 7-OEM Brand Parts Department (Ford, Toyota, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Brand, Isuzu Truck) Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels Monitoring the current parts inventory Pricing parts to maintain profitability Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them Overseeing special orders Collaborating with service managers, advisors, and/or technicians to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs Hiring, supervising and training parts department staff members Other duties as assigned Requirements Prior parts management experience in a dealership preferred Ford, Toyota, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and/or Isuzu experience Preferred Familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds a Plus Management and Parts inventory experience is required Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality High school diploma or equivalent Math, Reading and Basic Computer skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Professional appearance and work ethic Must have a valid PA driver's license with good driving record Ability to lift 50 pounds Benefits: Highly Productive, Very Large, Clean Parts Department Company Issued Uniforms Energetic Work Environment Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance 401K with Company Match Paid Time Off Advancement within the Department and/or Company Employee Vehicle Purchase Program Employee Service Discount Program *In order to qualify for employment All applicants must pass pre-employment testing which includes: Background Checks, MVR, and Drug Testing.
