The Accident Repair Center is a dealer-based collision center located in Jamestown, NY. We are growing and looking to hire an experienced Body Repair & Paint Line Prepper (disassembly, sanding , buffing, and masking) to join our team. We are OE Certified in a number of manufacturers to provide our customers a 100% safe and factory certified repair due to our employees having extensive training and knowledge. Paid Skilled Trainings and Certifications Requirements 2+ years of prior experience in Auto Painting Must currently have a valid driver's license Must be located in the United States Must relocate to the Jamestown area prior to starting work (Required) High School or Equivalent (Preferred) Abilities/Skills/Knowledge: Experience in painting automotive vehicles Verbal and Written Communication Skill-Set Work in a team-environment to provide support and interact with team members and managers as needed Demonstrate ability to stay organized Execute the validations checklists and standards we have in place for each vehicle Learn about the DCR patented production process of how we move our cars through the line Build to assist/shadow an experienced Painter and Paint Prepper Ability to provide excellent customer service for customers Ability to prioritize competing tasks that are ever changing in a fast-paced environment Be familiar with computer applications to execute tasks within our systems Wet sand and buffing abilities As this is not a comprehensive list of assigned job duties, other job functions will be needed as required Position Criteria Problem Solver – Being innovative to work out issues/tasks in unconventional ways Adaptable – Able to be flexible when challenges or other tasks present themselves that require frequent shifts in direction Autonomous – Independent, working with little direction to produce results Goal Oriented – Works diligently to ensure tasks are completed and tackles challenges Detailed Oriented – Not focusing on the bigger picture of work, but the step-by-step details of the process Team Player Time Management Punctual Position Criteria 8 hour Shift Monday to Friday No Nights No Weekends Work Location: In Person
