Responsibilities
• Consistently meet and exceed sales and PBT goals• Develop and implement branch market plan• Ensure customer service meets expectations• Support sales representative activities• Handle customer complaints• Maintain computer operating system• Prepare and deliver customer orders• Manage branch merchandising• Maintain branch inventory levels• Ensure safety and security practices are followed• Provide input for annual budget development• Review management/financial reports• Perform accounts receivable and expense payable functions• Maintain Price Record Cards• Respond to Audit Report and take necessary corrective action• Determine staffing needs and establish work schedules• Identify employee training needs• Ensure branch staff performs to meet objectives• Process daily paperwork• Process accounts payable• Implement and maintain a systematic follow-up program• Conduct credit investigations and analysis• Build positive relationships with employees, customers, and vendors• Hold regular meetings with employees• Develop and target new business• Actively work in the field calling on existing and potential accounts• Possess strong knowledge of branch operations• Adhere to company safety standards• Conduct market research studies• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• High School education or equivalent (required)• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)• Valid driver's license• Previous record of effective management• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service related field• At least one year experience in an automotive aftermarket industry (preferred)• Previous experience in sales related goal• Demonstrated ability to work with word documents and spreadsheets• Demonstrated high level of both verbal and written communication skills• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations and financial ratios relative to a P&L• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
