Automotive Accounts Payable/Receivable

SARASOTA TOYOTA IS HIRING!!! If you are an Automotive Accounting professional, we want to meet you! Due to growth and career advancement within our team, we are looking to add talent to our Accounting Office. The right individual will possess a positive, upbeat demeanor and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, team environment. Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. Room for growth and advancement! Responsibilities may include the following: Reconcile and post daily Sales, Parts and Service deposits to the general ledger Code and post Accounts Payable invoices and Accounts Receivable payments to the general ledger, monitor accounts for delinquency Reconcile vendor statements; Issue daily, weekly and/or monthly payments Review and submit product cancellations thru third-party vendor, post transactions to general ledger, calculate sales tax refunds and issue payments Maintain and review accounting schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Participate in year-end compliance projects; Resale Certificates, 1099 Reconciliation, etc. Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned Meet deadlines and assist with month-end close Assist with special projects, as necessary What we offer : Great hourly pay and a flexible work environment Fun, positive and respectful culture Full Benefits Package available including medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability and life insurance 401(k) also available with company match Paid vacation FMLA extended to employees satisfying federal requirements Substantial employee discounts available on new vehicle purchases, all vehicle service and parts Equal opportunity employer What we are looking for :
Automotive dealership accounting experience is strongly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Familiarity with CDK is a plus, but not required Professional and positive demeanor with a "team" mentality Flexible and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines Effective communication skills Computer literate Fast learner with the willingness and desire to grow **All applicants must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks and drug screening, in order to qualify for employment**
