Automation Tester Irvine, CA- Onsite Long Term 3-6 years of experience is sufficient. Need Python, Appium and Linux experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and implement test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and user experience of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and technologies. Execute automated tests across different devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions to ensure compatibility and consistency. Perform root cause analysis of issues identified during testing and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve them. Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of mobile applications. Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and patterns to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in mobile automation testing, sharing knowledge and insights with the team. Document test processes, procedures, and findings, ensuring clear communication and knowledge transfer within the organization. Experience & Skills
Significant years of experience in system software design, development integration, and automation, preferably in the semiconductor industry. Proven communication and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively in close knit cross-functional teams. Solid experience in development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes including Quality Release Criteria. Proficient in creating test cases, automation DevOps pipelines. Experienced in using automation infrastructure tools, and in Appium (Python) /PyTest/Selenium etc. Strong knowledge and experience in Linux Environment Qualifications BE, BCA, MCA. MTech, MSc and BSc degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, other related technical degrees
