We are currently seeking a seasoned cabinetry/architectural drafter to join our team. In this role, you will craft detailed working drawings, translating customer specifications into tangible products. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between our clientele and manufacturing team, adeptly navigating evolving customer requirements.
Qualifications:
A two-year drafting degree coupled with at least one year of commensurate work experience, showcasing advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. Demonstrated problem-solving prowess. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail. Basic proficiency in computer skills. Prior experience in kitchen planning or design would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:
Review customer-provided layouts, rectifying technical issues and offering clarity when necessary. Utilize various software programs and resources to create or modify drawings in alignment with customer orders. Liaise with Customer Service personnel and dealers to address queries and provide product design guidance. Execute change orders promptly and accurately. Collaborate with senior staff to resolve conflicts or complex scenarios. Maintain productivity while upholding quality standards. Aid manufacturing staff in resolving drawing-related challenges. Actively contribute to the development and refinement of product specifications. Participate in the exploration of new product concepts through research and development initiatives.
