About the Position: We are currently hiring for the role of Auto Glass Technician Trainee. This position is the first step towards becoming a certified auto glass technician on our nationally recognized team of expert installers. As a technician trainee, you will be trained to install and repair auto glass, recalibrate car safety systems, and provide exceptional service. We will provide you with the necessary training and pay you while you learn.

What You Will Do: Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training Install and repair auto glass Recalibrate automotive safety systems Provide additional services and products Study and pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician Safely operate a company vehicle and use company-issued tools What You Will Get: Competitive weekly pay starting at $28/hour, increasing to $30/hour after training and certification Earn $5 for every set of wiper blades added for customer safety A benefits package valued at more than $10k, including a 401(k) plan, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days Opportunity for tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually Paid training and all the tools and resources you'll need to be successful What You Need: Must be 18 years of age or older Valid state-issued driver's license Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customer's needs Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally High school diploma or equivalent preferred If you are interested in joining our diverse workforce and becoming part of the Safelite team, apply now!
