Auto Feed Saw Operator

1st shift 7am to 3:00pm with overtime when required
Summary: Reading blueprints or technical drawings and making adjustments for each job. Reading a tape measure and perform basic math to set stops/guides to the specified length of each job according to blueprint specifications. Look for any defects or issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job.
Set stops or guides to specified lengths.
Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues. Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy.
Help pack and transport finished pieces.
Meeting production/fabrication goals.
Maintaining an accurate inventory count. Accurately complete paperwork. Requirements and Qualifications
Experience operating a saw (1-3 years preferred)
Knowledge of hand/power tools.
Forklift experience.
Basic math skills
Basic computer literacy.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to prioritize safety and the use of safety gear
