The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will be providing consulting and financial support to BSO-11 (Budget Submitting Office) Business Offices.
The Location: Washington, DC / Hybrid
The Work Environment: Hybrid
Requires the employee to work on-site one day a week at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for the majority of the workday. The other working days will be performed remotely. The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
The Description: The successful candidate will work with BSO-11 clients to:
Examine/develop processes to support the accounting department to include transitioning to Navy ERP Participating in working groups Updating and maintaining standard operating procedures and policies Performing data analysis Education & Experience: Active DoD Secret Clearance, required. Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of experience. ALLOWABLE SUBSITIUTIONS: Associate's degree with eight (8) years of experience. Accounting, audit, and/or Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) experience Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) experience Intermediate Excel Skills to include performing financial analysis. Detailed Oriented Analytical Skills Good Communication Skills Capital Improvement and/or OM&S experience preferred, but not necessary. Travel: On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
