Audit Manager

We are a midsize firm based in Sommerville, NJ. We are a thriving firm that has been operating since 1977 and we are about 35 employees and counting. We are a full service CPA firm that offers Tax, Audit, Bookkeeping, and Wealth Management services. We are a generalist firm working with private businesses, non-profits, and individual tax clients. We are typically in the small to mid size business realm. We look to promote a healthy work life balance. We also look to limit busy season hours and keep them between 45 and 60 hours a week in season and most work between 35 and 40 outside of season.
We are looking for the next generation of leaders who want to work towards a path to partnership and continually progressing their career with a collaborative and welcoming team. What You Need for this Position Must have at least 5 years in public accounting and:
- CPA preferred
- Experience with real estate, construction, manufacturing, and distribution, medical, professional services
- Experience with audits, reviews, compilations of financial statements
- Experience training and supervising staff
- Experience leading engagements from start to finish and communicating with clients on a regular basis
