Audit And Accounts Senior

I am actively recruiting an Audit and Accounts Senior for a forward-thinking 4 Partner Accountancy Practice based in Sutton. Having trialled a 4-day working week back in 2022, this firm has made this a permanent policy - and the candidates I have placed here are still enjoying the benefits of a much longer weekend!
The role will be audit focused with the likely split of 80% audit and 20% accounts. You will be responsible for designing and leading audits from planning through to completion, as well as preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

Office Hours: Mon to Thurs 8:00am to 6:00pm

What will this Audit Senior role entail?
Split of work is 80% audit and 20% accounts and tax
Leading audits from planning through to completion,
Preparing FRS102 statutory accounts for audited clients
Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
Monitoring and controlling job budgets ensuring that audits are completed within budget
Reviewing junior team members' work
The successful Audit Senior will be ACCA or ACA qualified and ideally three years' of accountancy practice experience working in an audit role for a varied portfolio of OMB and SME clients across a diverse range of sectors.
