Responsibilities
• Greet and room patients, inform clinical staff of patient arrival• Process registration work and correspondence• Schedule appointments and process referrals• Update patient records and notify patients of appointments• Package and mail orders, perform inventories, clean devices• Assist with technical tasks and preparation of materials• Maintain and restock rooms, perform equipment checks and repairs• Perform hearing testing and provide patient education• Perform infection control duties• Assist audiologists with various tasks
Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Excellent customer service skills• Ability to understand and empathize with patients• Good manual dexterity and time management skills• Computer and keyboarding skills• High school degree or equivalent• Previous experience in healthcare environment• Previous experience in audiology or ENT department preferred• Previous experience with hearing aids and devices preferred
