Our client, a NJ based commercial AV design, integration and managed services company, specializing primarily in luxury retail and public spaces, is searching for an experiencedAudio Visual Project Manager.The successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, excellent organization skills and a solid understanding of AV Systems and the ability to manage time and labor effectively.They are seeking an experienced individual to join their operations team that will manage project oversight, communication, quality control, and delivery of their projects within designated time and budgetary requirements. The ideal candidate will have background in AV installation at a 'Lead' level, Project Management experience, be able to review detailed drawings, and have excellent communication skills.As a Project Manager, responsibilities will include:Interfacing with clients, construction managers and architects regarding scheduling and installationAttending initial client meetings and site visits as neededScheduling all labor associated with assigned projectsVerifying accuracy of site drawings and site conditionsVerifying that all power, data, and infrastructure needs are coordinatedTracking project progress on a daily basis and providing detailed project reports accordinglyManaging scheduling to ensure that assigned projects fall within budgeted hoursIntroducing assigned staff to project requirements and ensuring continued availability during installationEnsuring equipment is received from the manufacturer prior to promised delivery and installationPreparing in conjunction with Project Coordinator equipment and supplies prior to installation dateDelivering necessary equipment and supplies to job site as neededTriggering invoicing at appropriate landmarks throughout the project based on billing termsCreating documentation binders for clients that include equipment manuals, system drawings and operational procedures.Notifying supervisor of incidents that occur during installation for the purposes of training and documentation.Reviewing technicians upon job completionQualifications include:Experience in managing AV installation projects and construction is a mustStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to grasp technical concepts quicklyThe ability to work both independently and in a team environmentMust possess strong organizational, efficiency and detail-oriented skill setsCollege degree, preferably in a technical field or businessPC literacy to include Microsoft Office applications, other project management applications helpfulMust possess a valid driver's licenseHighly professional presentation and demeanorMust be able to travelBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
