YOUR DAY-TO-DAY This position typically works 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility depending on scheduling requirements. This position earns a competitive salary of $55k - $70k/year. This is not a remote position this is on-site in our Birmingham office. THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE THAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We're looking for an Audio Visual Design Engineer that can meet the following requirements:
BS in Engineering or a related field or extensive experience with AV Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of AV Engineering experience. Understanding of AV technologies and products for Commercial applications. Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and Microsoft Office suite. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Control Systems, DSPs, and other AV product setup and programming. Ability to use AutoCAD efficiently. Crestron, AMX and/or Q-SYS programming certification a plus. Ability to obtain AVIXA CTS-D certification within 1 year.
