DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for parents/guardians with children between the ages of 4-12 to participate in our Kapok Audio Collection project for native Spanish speaking Minors in the USA.
Task Description: For this project, we are looking for Spanish speaking families with children between 4-12 years of age. With a guardian's help, each child will record a set of sentences according to the provided prompts (e.g., describing a picture, reading, or repeating a sentence, etc.). Recordings will be made using our mobile app. Selected candidates will be provided with instructions on how to download and use our app, along with the project guidelines.
The purpose of this project is to improve the functionality of voice assistants.
Requirements: To participate, you will need to:
- Be the legal guardian of the child(ren) you are registering (you will need to sign a Parental Consent form).
- Have a smartphone device to download our app and use it for recording.
Each child you register should meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Be 4-12 years old.
- Reside in the United States or US territory .
- Be a native speaker of Spanish with accents from Colombia , Cuba , Dominican Republic , or Puerto Rico .
Compensation You will receive 65 USD for the participation of your child(ren).
As payment method we offer PayPal , Gift Card , Wire Transfer , and Check , according to your preference.
All submissions will undergo quality assurance and compensation will be provided for fully completed and accepted sets.
