WHO ARE YOU? Self- starter, multi-tasker, independent. If it blinks, buzzes or beeps do you know how to keep it blinking, buzzing and beeping? Do you have a knack for all things mechanical, electrical and technological. Would you consider yourself experienced as a video game guru? Always present with a positive attitude. You must also be capable to work as a team member utilizing clear verbal communication and written skills with a strong attention to details. 3-5 years of documented experience in auto, manufacturing, or aviation maintenance. A punctual and reliable person. Has a strong work ethic that can identify tasks that need to be completed and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job completed. THE JOB As an attraction's maintenance technician, you will work under the maintenance manager performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to our attractions, arcade games, buildings, and other equipment. WHAT WILL THIS ROLE DO Representing Sonny's Place as a member of our team both to our guests and fellow team members Repair mechanical rides, devices, attractions, arcade room, and overall facility repairs as needed by defining the problem, research and collect data, draw valid conclusions, and execute a remedy in a timely manner. Perform preventive maintenance, yearly overhaul processes, and repairs ensuring devices are maintained to the manufacture's specifications and park standards while keeping all records in an organized fashion Assist in the evacuation of attractions while implementing the lock out tag procedures Communicate with the maintenance manager and daily operations Manager Respond to all radio calls in a timely manner upholding the highest standard of care while communicating with any park guests or team member Consistently practice safe work habits Must be able to work varied shifts, holidays, and weekend hours During winter months, must be on call during all snow events to keep the park accessible both during and outside of operating hours May be required to assist in the setup of events Other duties and responsibilities as needed Benefits of working as a Attraction Maintenance Technician in Somers, CT:
