Our firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Attorney with a strong background in Dispute Resolution. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the law and a drive to make a difference. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and highly-respected legal team that represents a diverse clientele. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling complex legal matters, providing advice, and representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of dispute resolution matters.
Manage all phases of the litigation process, including investigation, pleadings and discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
Draft and review various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and contracts.
Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions.
Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of topics and issues.
Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes favorably and cost-effectively.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect clients or the firm.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 1 years of experience
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
Demonstrated experience in managing all stages of litigation.
Outstanding negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Demonstrated commitment to providing superior service to clients.
Experience in other areas of law is a plus
