Associate Veterinarian

New Prague Animal Care is seeking one full-time and one part-time Veterinarian to join our passionate veterinary team in New Prague, MN. Located just 1 hour SW of the Twin Cities, you will be close enough to enjoy the culture, sporting and culinary opportunities that downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul have to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful, rural country community.  For over 20 years, our family- and veteran-owned, private small animal practice has operated with an emphasis on wellness and urgent/emergency care services while utilizing a fear-free approach.
We need you!! We are currently a 2-doctor practice bridging added support with relief veterinarians until we welcome our newest team members.  New grads or experienced veterinarians considered. Our clinic team is one big family. We have great equipment, we practice progressive medicine, and we have wonderful clients!
We offer flexible scheduling so you can design your dream schedule. Full-time associate will work +/- 40 hours a week scheduled between 8am-8pm M-F, with rotating Saturday shifts. Part-time associate can choose from weekday shifts between 8am-8pm M-F, with rotating Saturday shifts. We offer a great caseload with a mix of medicine, wellness, emergency/urgent care, surgical and dental care cases.
Compensation includes competitive hourly wage based on experience with opportunity to transition to production-based income opportunity once you establish your client base.

-Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD)
-Maintain and provide proof of State Veterinary License in good standing in Minnesota.
-Maintain and provide proof of current Drug Enforcement Administration (State and Federal) Licenses.
