The Role Bring your experience to the St. Louis STERIS team as the Associate Product Manager where you will support the assigned product line by working with the Product Manager and established project teams to achieve the established financial and new product objectives. You will work on assigned projects in the product/market area and will be responsible for supporting the product line on a daily basis. You will also work closely with peer managers in all disciplines within the company in support of new product development and business process improvement efforts
What You Will Do Gathers and analyzes product line data in support of product line initiatives and strategic reviews (15%). Coordinates the development of product line promotional materials including website, brochures, e-mail, sales presentations and trade event properties with marketing communications group (15%). Supports field sales with product line and technical information as needed for Customer solicitations and support (15%). Develops and maintains a database of competitive information (10%). Supports Voice of the Customer initiatives to identify Customer needs and industry trends (10%). Helps in the development of sales training materials and events (10%). Supports new product development projects (15%). Assists in preparing annual strategic plans and budgets (10%). What You Need To Be Successful Bachelor degree in science related discipline; biology, chemistry, microbiology, etc. Requires minimum 2+ years of marketing, product management, sales or life science industry experience. What Will Help You Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiation, analytical and project management skills High degree of technical aptitude and multi-tasking capability Excellent oral and written communications skills Demonstrated leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, with track record of successfully motivating cross functional teams Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint What We Offer The opportunity to join a company that will invest in you for the long-term.
