Responsibilities: The Associate Procurement Specialist is a multi-faceted entry level position focused on Database management, data analytics, reporting and Vendor management for Procurement, Subcontracts and Logistics functions. A successful candidate will be proficient in Access database development and maintenance, Excel reports and data analytics related to Supply Chain Management.
Local Requirements: Develop, enhance, and maintain Access databases, as well as Excel Spreadsheets to support the operations in the Procurement, Subcontract and Logistics groups. Analyzing and converting raw Spend data into weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Buyers, Subcontract Administrators and SCM Management. Managing Material Demand reports using JD Edwards + Oracle Agile software Handling the internal Vendor pre-qualification and vetting process. Analyze and organize Excel reports containing commodity and spend data. Mastering the use of SCM system tools in order to be able to support Supply Chain employees with training and troubleshooting on these systems. Communicates with Buyers, Expeditors, Project Procurement Managers, Subcontract Administrators and other project personnel concerning system and reporting tool improvements and maintenance. Assist with the SCM Purchasing and Subcontracting policy and procedure management. Executing special projects and initiatives set by SCM Management Proactively search for improvements to the Vendor onboarding process.
