JOB OVERVIEW: The Associate Manager is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the Assistant and Store Manager in their goals and responsibilities. You will help maintain a clean facility, help keep team members on task, and strive toward maintaining high performing sales and customer service.
*Evening and weekend availability required* *Scheduling is rotated between staff* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support and assist the Assistant Manager and Store Manager in cleaning, training, customer service, and any other assigned tasks Resolve or escalate customer service issues in a timely manner Support company marketing efforts with approved language and visual displays/social media Learn to set and follow up on shift goals, then coach and train others on sales expectations Uphold a strong sales performance and lead by example Reports and addresses employee issues with upper management (tardiness, dress code, unprofessional behavior etc.) Attend and participate in company meetings; assist in delivering corporate content to the store associates (promotions, policies etc.) Participate in preparing for store meeting; be willing to conduct training/coaching segment during store meeting Share the responsibility of personally covering uncovered shifts, whether it is weekends, holidays, or days off Monitor traffic to determine staffing needs; contact store manager when overstaffed Conduct bi-monthly inventory checks and report any discrepancies to inventory controller Attend weekly management meeting review numbers, store operations, and strategy Report and follow through on maintenance issues Maintains overall store cleanliness and checks daily chores while on shift GENERAL SKILL AND COMPETENCIES: Good attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and behavior Ability to promote and work in team environment Customer service oriented and ability to work with and resolve complex customer issues Ability to lead by example Have a drive to succeed and motivate others Excellent interpersonal communication skills conflict resolution Capacity to work under pressure Oversee small projects and tasks Establish productive working relationships with all levels within the organization Basic understanding of inventory control and follow up REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/ GED required Basic grammar, math, and computer skills 1 year of shift lead/keyholder/supervisor experience, or at least 6 months of Beaches employment Flexible schedule and must be available to work 30 hours per week Physical demands: this position involves constant moving, standing, talking, hearing, reaching, and bending over to clean a tanning bed for up to 8 hours at a time BENEFITS: Medical (50% covered by employer), Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Free UV Tanning/Spa Services and $7-$10 Spray Tans Access to free employee tanning lotion 30% off all product ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM?
