The Collision Development Associate Manager holds a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing the team responsible for crafting repair procedures for Tesla vehicles in global markets. This position requires dynamic leadership to ensure seamless vehicle market entry by guaranteeing 100% vehicle replaceability and repairability. In this role, you will spearhead the Collision Development Team, ensuring all collision damages are repairable on day zero of customer deliveries. Additionally, the role involves providing vital support to the field by resolving repairs with no existing solutions and actively soliciting feedback to enhance repair information.
This position will be based in either Fremont, CA or Austin, TX.

This position requires dynamic leadership to ensure seamless vehicle market entry by guaranteeing 100% vehicle replaceability and repairability. In this role, you will spearhead the Collision Development Team, ensuring all collision damages are repairable on day zero of customer deliveries. Additionally, the role involves providing vital support to the field by resolving repairs with no existing solutions and actively soliciting feedback to enhance repair information.
This position will be based in either Fremont, CA or Austin, TX.
What You'll Do

Lead, train, and mentor members of the Collision Development team
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop comprehensive collision repair manuals, optimize service parts, and validate repair methodologies
Drive continuous improvement by refining systems and processes related to replacement procedures and technical documentation creation
Partner with Field Technical Specialists and Tools & Equipment Teams globally to swiftly resolve field escalations
Work with Quality Teams to review damaged parts and ensure their acceptance in the field and compliance with standards
Act as a liaison with insurance companies to address technical inquiries and leverage repair data effectively
Provide stakeholders with crucial, actionable feedback and address any additional business needs as they arise
What You'll Bring

Minimum 10 years of experience in the Collision industry
Bachelor's Degree in Automotive, Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%
Prior leadership experience in collision repair, reconditioning industries, or related fields
Proven ability in leading technical repair or manufacturing teams in a technology-driven environment with customer-facing responsibilities
Expertise in developing and managing complex processes, with knowledge of lean or similar techniques
Technical acumen in Tesla products, collision repair systems, and processes, along with a strong understanding of industry regulations and guidelines

Expected Compensation
$92,000 - $213,840/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
