About the Job:
As a member of the Sector3 analytical team, this position involves close work with Sector3s analysts constructing comprehensive analyses and valuation reports for clients. The right candidate should be able to manage a project through all phases and will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues to develop leadership skills.
Although we are focused on the metals industry, prior experience or knowledge is not a requirement. Candidates will be expected to acquire industry knowledge and keep current with market and general economic trends.
Responsibilities
Act as a senior analyst on an engagement with multiple deliverables, meeting deadlines and maintaining effective team communication.
Construct financial and inventory valuation models
Conduct detailed performance analyses based on a clients financial statement and gross sales trends, inventory management and utilization, as well as sales and purchasing activities.
Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both colleagues and clients.
Research metal industry and general economic trends.
Other projects as assigned.
Required Skills / Experience
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with 5 to 7 years of experience.
Strong financial understanding and analytical skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to research and describe general market and economic conditions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter, highly motivated individual with good time management skills.
Metals industry knowledge or appraisal experience a plus, but not required.
Ability to travel (10-15%)

We are currently working from our Providence, RI office two days a week and continuing to work virtually the remainder of the time. While we offer a hybrid work from home/office environment, candidates must be willing and able to work from our Providence, RI office on scheduled in person days and when required for meetings, trainings, etc.
