Associate I Payroll

Experis IT ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Medical device organization in the Abbott Park, IL for a Payroll Associate I role to assist their team. This is an on-site role.  Industry: Medical device Title:                Payroll Associate I

Pay rate:        $22/hr on W2 Location:          Abbott Park, IL (5 days a week) Duration:         3 months Contrcat with possible extension or hiring Job Description:

You will be responsible for entering and validating payroll information, creating and maintaining payroll files and time record batches, researching and resolving time card questions, and participating in special projects.



Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by helping employees and managers with questions via email and phone

• Create new hire folders

• File paperwork into employee files

• Distribute checks and reports to divisional contacts • Work with HR Representatives to resolve employee issues • Participate in special projects • Research and resolve employee related questions/issues • Comply with company policies as well and state/ federal, DOL & SOX regulations             Required Qualifications:  • 1+ year of general business experience in customer service, call center, and/or in a help desk environment • Beginning level proficiency with Excel (perform basic formulas) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers Preferred Qualifications: • Associates Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field discipline
