Responsibilities
• Assist engineers and project managers with fire protection system design• Perform site surveys of existing facilities and fire protection systems• Provide building and fire code and life safety analysis• Prepare letters and reports for clients and authorities
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field• OR work experience in engineering or construction• OR passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam• Experience with Fire Modeling (FDS) and timed egress analysis preferred• Knowledge of ICC and NFPA code & standards• Ability to gain knowledge of fire protection engineering and design principles• Ability to work within a collaborative team environment• Excellent communication and presentation skills
