Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and marketing strategy• Implement strategic communications strategies and outreach across various channels• Collaborate with staff and faculty to enhance the institute's activities• Serve as the primary writer and storyteller for the institute• Manage the institute's digital presence• Coordinate with University Communications to ensure compliance with brand standards• Supervise student workers• Work a hybrid schedule with occasional travel to Eugene• Occasional evenings and weekends required
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or public affairs• 5 years of related experience• 1 year of experience with supervising students and/or staff• Superior writing skills• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines• Ability to collaborate in a team environment• Experience in higher education and media relations preferred• Graduate degree or certificate in behavioral health field a plus
