Associate Director of Development position in the Franklin College of Arts and SciencesPurpose is to raise major gifts to support the Franklin College and the University of GeorgiaFocus on gifts of $25,000 or more and maintain a robust portfolio of current and prospective donors
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage a portfolio of Franklin College major gift prospects• Conduct qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship visits in Georgia and nationwide• Prepare compelling proposals to secure major gifts in support of Franklin College priorities• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Physical and Mathematical Sciences• Attend meetings to represent the needs of the assigned area and liaise with foundation relations team• Collaborate with faculty and staff across campus• Perform additional duties on football Saturdays and special events• Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
• Baccalaureate degree in a relevant field• Ability to write and speak clearly• Outstanding people skills• Organizational skills for event management• Familiarity with office and basic database usage• Must be able to drive for job tasks
